Activision wanted to drive authentic engagement for the launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 by connecting with superfans outside the traditional gaming community.
Solution
Pearpop identified and activated non-endemic Call of Duty superfans—from athletes to foodies to cultural icons. By gifting special-edition PS5 consoles to these unexpected gaming creators and their squads, we sparked authentic engagement across diverse communities and laid the foundation for sustained collaboration with unexpected, diverse creators.
